Bring them back to the basics
A study by the UCL Centre for Longitudinal Studies found that half of teenagers who did not pass GCSE English and maths were not meeting expected levels in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), suggesting that early language development is crucial for later academic success. Educational research over the years has demonstrated focused, one to one and small group tuition can be an effective catch-up strategy.
Kip McGrath Education Centres continue to work in partnership with other educational providers to complement and support classroom learning. We provide a bespoke learning platform that can focus on all areas, including any gaps in learning that are identified at the FREE assessment.
Our qualified tutors track and monitor progress, provide detailed feedback and reassess students to demonstrate their progress. Regular feedback is provided to aid learning and progress to identify goals achieved, and to set new targets.
